FinMan products are easy to install, as shown in the use guides (Multitool & STOW). Multitool installs with 2 bands, and STOW installs with 1. Your FinMan product can be removed easily by using the hook on your lure as a crochet hook, sliding it under the bands and pulling upward, which will allow you to switch the device between multiple setups and pieces of gear.

Thanks to innovative engineering, FinMan products will fit rods with diameters from ¼ inch (such as a panfish rod) up to ¾ inch (such as bass or heavy trolling rods). FinMan Multitool comes with 4 attachment bands total (2 small, and 2 medium) to give the user flexibility to attach Multitool to different size rods. FinMan STOW comes with 1 Large band per unit. The new installation method of STOW allows the product to sit on top of the band, increasing friction and keeping the product in place across a variety of rod sizes. No, the FinMan Multitool blades are not replaceable. However, all of our blades are hardened, tempered, polished and coated to ensure you years of service life.

FinMan products can be used for fly fishing setups but due to the nature of the fly line and casting technique, there is a possibility of line entanglement. However, we have many happy fly fishing users that love having STOW and Multitool on their rod. Many fly anglers even prefer to keep Multitool on their vest to use handheld just for the precision snipper.

One of the many advantages of FinMan products is that despite the rigorous engineering that went into the design, they are just as useful and easy to use for brand new anglers as it is for experienced ones. They are simple to install and use, and having a Multitool on a rod eliminates many of the time-consuming and frustrating elements of fishing that so many anglers experience.
